Every year I run a handful of group courses teaching how to rush seat.
Courses run for two days, usually over a weekend, and by the end of the course you will have a full understanding of how to complete a rush seat along with your completed stool (or chair) to take home with you.
These courses are hands on, built around you putting a rush seat in a stool that I will provide. As we have limited time, seating a chair isn’t always possible but if you do have a chair of your own that you would prefer to seat let me know and I can judge whether it can be done over the two days.
The courses take place at my workshop in Stockton, Warwickshire starting at 8.30 until 4.30pm, including plenty of breaks for coffee/tea and lunch.
The way we rush seat has been developed and perfected over multiple generations and I’m excited to pass on that knowledge to new students, along with all the little tips and tricks that we have learnt along the way.

Booking conditions
Deposit of £100 is required to secure booking. This is refundable or transferable to another date up to 45 days before the course. After 45 days the deposit is no longer refundable. The balance to be paid 7 days before the start of the course.
Accommodation isn’t provided but there are plenty of good options nearby, I’m happy to send some recommendations when you make your booking.
